Renovated from existing buildings, Super Player is another urban renewal project by Beijing Vanke, following the success of Vanke Times. This project discards the traditional functional expression and instead uses art to highlight the metropolitan features and player personality of the space.
What sets Super Player apart is its X-space design concept. The units in the apartment can be changed, disassembled, reorganized, and even expanded according to the needs of the dwellers. This bold experimentation with modularization allows for a truly customizable living experience.
The interior design of Super Player is both simplistic and advanced. Curved lines run through the space, creating a visually smooth experience. Soft leather and eye-catching metal elements are widely used, showcasing the perfect combination of high-grade materials. French windows extend the original granite on the exterior wall, providing an open view to the outside and seamlessly integrating the interiors with the urban landscape.
With an area of 274 square meters, Super Player offers a spacious and flexible living environment. The X-space design allows residents to adapt their living spaces to their changing needs, ensuring that the design remains relevant and functional in the rapidly changing times we live in.
The installation art piece, YU - Perpetual Motion, located in the center of the room, adds a sense of space roaming with its futuristic metal texture. Contrasting with the skyscraper city view outdoors, YU helps dwellers escape the oppression of the concrete jungle and enter into a capacious and unrestrained Super Player mood. Every element in the design carries a liberal attitude and genderless fashion style, creating a space that truly reflects the personalities of the Super Players.
Super Player was a challenging project for the design team. The biggest challenge was creating a new "life-oriented" design that satisfies the demands of modern people living in rapidly changing times. The X-space concept was the solution, allowing for adaptability and personalization in every unit of the space.
Super Player, with its innovative X-space design and luxurious yet adaptable living spaces, redefines the concept of luxury living. It offers a glimpse into the future of urban living, where flexibility and personalization are key. T.K.Chu Design has once again pushed the boundaries of design, creating a space that truly reflects the needs and desires of the modern dweller.
